A house or an apartment? Which do you prefer? If you could choose both, where would you move? I can personally say that if I had the opportunity to live in an apartment, I would never go there again. I had the opportunity to live in an apartment for a few years and I had no problems with it, I rather liked it. I could drive a car, but I was lucky that I could walk everywhere I wanted to go and there was everything around the corner. So I didn\’t need a car. I lived in the center of the city. It was perfect for me. I was young, and I\’m not young now, I\’m not 20 anymore, so I liked the quiet and the privacy.

Its advantage was that it was close to everything. As I mentioned before, I didn\’t use a car at all, and the bus stop was right next to my apartment, so I had plenty of time to get to work or go shopping. I was right in the middle of it all. I didn\’t mind the street, the noise at night, the cars, the people walking around. But what bothered me the most was the lack of privacy. Yes, privacy. I was often told. If I farted in my apartment complex, others would know. My neighbors knew when I came home, who I came home with, and what I was up to. Instead of everyone minding their own business, they turned everyone against them. I think it\’s like that everywhere. So I decided that if I had an apartment downtown, it wasn\’t worth it, and I decided I never wanted to live in an apartment again.

My partner and I decided on our future. We moved to a small but beautiful village and built a house. We will no longer use public transportation in this village, as it is not reliable. I am not in the middle of this village and do not mind at all. We have a small house where we are happy together. We have a few neighbors around us that we don\’t know much about and I don\’t think they know much about us either. We all only care about ourselves. We only care about ourselves. So the main things I miss in an apartment, it\’s privacy and quiet.
